This is my Visa for Treaty Traders Information Page.

America has always been a trading nation. From its rather humble beginnings, it has grown to the largest trading nation on earth. If you are doing import or export business with the United States you may be qualified for a Treaty Trader Visa.

Generally speaking, you can get permission to enter the United States for the purpose of directing and developing and import/export trade business between the United States and your country if the minimum following conditions exist:

You must be a national (citizen) of a country listed as one of the countries on the US Immigration Treaty Investor List. Any of these:
You must be able to demonstrate that the level of your import/export a activities is substantial in terms of number of transactions and money earned. The consideration for substance will vary and depend on each individual situation.
You must be able to substantiate that most of the trade you conduct is primarily between the United States and your country.
You must also show that you have the necessary experience, education, and history to operate your import/export business successfully.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

A LARGE INVESTMENT IN A TRADER BUSINESS MAY LEAD TO THE GREEN CARD:

If you plan to invest $1,000,000 USD or more ($500,000 in certain key areas) you may qualify as a special investor eligible for permanent residency status ("Green Card"). If you feel that you fit this particular program, please make a special note to me in the comments section of the form provided below.

If you own an existing business outside the United States and wish to expand the business into the US marketplace, then the Intercompany Transferee Visa may be more appropriate.
