The very foundation of our freedoms are aimed at preserving and enhancing the role of the family in our society. This applies to non-Americans who want to become Americans or who want to live here with their families.

It is possible to become a resident of the United States if one or more of your immediate family relatives are either US citizens or permanent residents. It is also possible if you plan to marry a US citizen or resident. In fact, the sheer number of possible combinations is mind-numbing to say the least. In other words, there are many roads to Rome, there are just as many roads to gaining residence in the US if member(s) of your family are already here.

It is a complex matter to determine exactly where you fit unless you fill out the form provided here.
